AUTHORIZATION FOR OUT -OF -COUNTY TRAVEL - MANAGING MEGAGROWTH <br />CONFERENCE <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously <br />authorized out -of -county travel for Commissioners <br />and staff to attend the 1985 Legislative <br />Response, Managing Megagrowth Conference to be held <br />in Tampa, Florida on October 18-19, 1985 and in West <br />Palm Beach, Florida on November 22-23, 1985. <br />CONTRACT WITH ARCHITECT FOR COUNTY GOLF COURSE <br />Administrator Wright advised that the following changes need <br />to be made in the contract under the Scope of Services: <br />Page 1 <br />A. 3) third line: add: "cart storage, club house and <br />driving range." <br />E. add as item 12_ "During construction, architect or his <br />representative will make at least one weekly trip to the <br />site." <br />Page_2 <br />Delete from bottom_ of page: "ARCHITECT shall be reimbursed <br />for reproduction and travel expenses related to the job." <br />Commissioner Scurlock suggested that we make sure that one <br />of the main principals of the architectural firm visits the site. <br />Administrator Wright noted that another modification had <br />been made which outlines more clearly that the architect will be <br />doing construction documents on an 18 -hole course and design <br />documents on a 27 -hole course. <br />BOOK �t FAGec�J <br />
