Wednesday, September 18, 1985 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Wednesday, <br />September 18, 1985, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Patrick B. <br />Lyons, Chairman; Don C. Scurlock, Jr., Vice Chairman; Richard N. <br />Bird; Margaret C. Bowman; and William C. Wodtke, Jr. Also <br />present were Michael J. Wright, County Administrator; Charles P. <br />Vitunac, Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; L.S. <br />"Tommy" Thomas, Intergovernmental Relations Director; Jeffrey K. <br />Barton, OMB Director; and Barbara Bonnah, Deputy Clerk. <br />Chairman Lyons called the meeting to order. <br />Helen Smith, Assistant Pastor of Christ United Methodist by <br />the Sea, gave the invocation and Commissioner Bird led the Pledge <br />of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Commissioner Scurlock requested the addition to today's <br />Agenda of a discussion re the upcoming meeting of the Treasure <br />Coast Regional Planning Council re transportation corridors. <br />Commissioner Bowman requested the addition to today's Agenda <br />of an emergency meeting of the North County Fire District. <br />Administrator Wright requested the addition of the proposed <br />architectural contract for the County golf course. <br />Attorney Vitunac requested the addition of a proposed <br />resolution in conjunction with Item 12A, requesting that Indian <br />River County remain in the Fourth District Court of Appeals. <br />r i-4, ,,I <br />BOOK ice; Ff�GE <br />SEP 18 1985 <br />I <br />
