Trails <br />Chief, Environmental Planning DIS:ARTCHA <br />It is requested that the data herein presented be given formal <br />consideration by the Board of County Commissioners at their <br />regular meeting of September 18, 1985. <br />D.E.R. DREDGE & FILL PERMIT.APPLICATION FILE NO. 31-105979-4 <br />APPLICANT: Indian Trails, Inc. <br />WATERWAY & LOCATION: Indian River, Section 35, Township 31S, - <br />Range 39E, Jungle Trail approximately 1.7 <br />miles south of C.R. 510 located in the <br />Town of Indian River Shores <br />WORK & PURPOSE: The applicant proposes to construct a <br />shoreline stabilization project along 0.05 acres of eroded <br />river bank area. Total acreage of wetlands involved is 0.025 <br />acres. Fill will consist of river bank material if possible; <br />otherwise, clean sand will be utilized. Red mangroves will be <br />planted to restore natural conditions. <br />ALTERNATIVES & ANALYSIS: <br />The Planning and Development Division reviews and submits <br />comments on dredge and fill applications to the permitting <br />agencies based upon the following: <br />- The conservation & Coastal Zone Management Element of <br />the Indian River Comprehensive Plan' <br />10 <br />
