PINTO, DI EC 0 <br />DIVISION OF UTILITY SERVICES <br />SEPTEMBER 5, 1985 <br />MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN THE DEPARTMENT OF <br />CORRECTIONS INDIAN RIVER <br />CORRECTIONAL INSTITUTION <br />AND INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />SANITARY LANDFILL <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The Department of Corrections Indian River County Correctional Institution. <br />and the Indian River County Sanitary Landfill located on 17th Street SW, <br />Vero Beach, Florida, have drafted the attached agreement to utilize inmate <br />labor for the general maintenance of the Landfill at the above -referenced <br />location. This agreement has been in force since the beginning of the <br />operation of the Landfill. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />1. Approve the attached agreement between the Department of Corrections <br />Indian River County Correctional Institution and Indian River County <br />Sanitary Landfili. <br />2. Disapprove the attached agreement between the Department of - <br />Cbrrections Indian River County Correctional Institution and Indian <br />River County Sanitary Landfill. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the attached Agreement between the Department of <br />Corrections Indian River County Correctional Institution and Indian River <br />County Sanitary Landfill be approved by the Board of County Commissioners. <br />SEP 25 1985 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, Commissioner Wodtke out of <br />the room, and Commissioner Bird absent, the Board <br />unanimously (3-0) approved the Agreement Between <br />the Department of Corrections Indian River Correctional <br />Institution and Indian River County Sanitary Landfill <br />and authorized the Chairman's signature. <br />5 <br />BOOK <br />
