OGT 2 1955 600K 62 PACE 332 <br />missioner Wodtke commented that in the past we have asked for <br />voluntary contributions and then authorized staff to do what is <br />necessary to collect if the people did not cooperate. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Wodtke, to ask Lewis P. Wood and <br />V. F. Thornton to make a voluntary contribution of <br />$750 in restitution for the violations and obtain <br />after -the -fact permits and in the event, they do not <br />voluntarily comply, to authorize staff to pursue <br />whatever legal action is available. <br />Lewis Wood informed the Board that he sold the property, and <br />he had to clear it as a marketing tool. He did not understand <br />how he can be held responsible when he engaged a reputable land <br />clearing man licensed by the county to do such work. <br />Commissioner Scurlock noted that possibly Mr. Wood might <br />have to take action against the land clearer. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. <br />It was voted on and carried unanimously. <br />TREE REMOVALMAND CLEARING VIOLATION (RIGHTON & JAHOLKOWSKI) <br />Planner Roland DeBlois reviewed the staff recommendation, as <br />follows: <br />42 <br />
