d. Submit toxic chemical release forms to the State Emergency <br />Response Commission and the Environmental Protection Agency for <br />each toxic chemical defined in Section 313 of SARA Title III that was <br />manufactured, processed or otherwise used in quantities exceeding <br />the established threshold planning quantity during the preceding <br />calendar year. <br />e. Provide immediate notification to the local fire division(s), State <br />Emergency Response Commission and Local Emergency Planning <br />Committee of the emergency release of a listed hazardous substance <br />in excess of the reportable quantity for that substance. <br />Provide written follow-up emergency notice to the State Emergency <br />Response Commission and Local Emergency Planning Committees <br />after the release. <br />2.6 VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATIONS <br />2.6.1 American Red Cross <br />The American Red Cross will provide reception and care for <br />evacuees. This service will include registration of evacuees, <br />provision of shelter managers, and special assistance <br />evacuees. Additional shelter space may have to be <br />established by the American Red Cross should the relocation <br />period last longer than anticipated. In this event, mobilization <br />and relocation of evacuees will be coordinated by the <br />American Red Cross, North Treasure Coast Chapter, through <br />the Indian River County Department of Emergency Services, <br />Emergency Operations Center. <br />2.6.2 Emergency Alert Systems (EAS) <br />Provide early warning to the public and area broadcasting <br />stations via EAS tone alert systems. <br />2.6.3 Florida Wing, Civil Air Patrol <br />The Florida Wing, Civil Air Patrol (CAP) provides assistance to <br />the state and its political subdivisions in responding to <br />emergencies.
