7.0 EMERGENCY FACILITIES & EQUIPMENT <br />7.1 GENERAL <br />This section describes the emergency response facilities, identifies <br />supplies and equipment designated for emergency response, and <br />identifies the key personnel and organizations that are anticipated to <br />respond to emergencies. <br />7.2 EMERGENCY RESPONSE FACILITIES AND PERSONNEL <br />7.2.1 Emergency Operations Center (EOC) <br />The Indian River County EOC is located at 4225 43rd <br />Avenue, Vero Beach, Florida (772) 567-2154. The EOC is <br />the center for overall coordination of local response to any <br />major emergency. The EOC has auxiliary power and <br />logistical provisions to support emergency operations. <br />It is not anticipated that the EOC will be activated during a <br />potential emergency condition. Key county officials will <br />report to the EOC in response to a limited emergency <br />condition. The county EOC will be fully staffed and activated <br />during a full emergency condition. EOC staffing will include <br />representatives from the following: <br />ESF #1 (TRANSPORTATION)- <br />I.R. Co. School District <br />ESF #2 (COMMUNICATIONS)- <br />I.R. Co. Department of Emergency Services; <br />Emergency Management Division <br />ESF #3 (PUBLIC WORKS AND ENGINEERING)- <br />I.R. Co. Public Works Dept. <br />ESF #4 (FIREFIGHTING)- <br />I.R. Co. Department of Emergency Services; <br />Fire Rescue Division <br />ESF #5 (INFORMATION AND PLANNING)- <br />I.R. Co.
