Recent in roads by Aclara and Itron now mean that these three are very much the market leaders in <br />the AMR/AMI solutions for North America although as of 2013 Sensus was still slightly ahead. <br />Sensus uses a licensed frequency for communication and has implemented this successfully in many utilities. They <br />had 30% of the endpoint market share in 2013. They support acoustic leak detection, smartphone and tablet <br />support and Customer Self Service. <br />Sensus also provides different solutions for funding and support.
