RESOLUTION NO. 2015-141 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, THAT: <br />Section 1. The above "WHEREAS" clauses are true and correct, and are hereby adopted <br />as findings of the Board. <br />Section 2. The Board urges the Florida Legislature and the Governor to oppose any <br />legislation which mandates a percentage of tourist development tax funds collected by local <br />governments be redirected away from local tourist development councils. <br />Section 3. The Board urges the Florida Legislature and the Governor to oppose any <br />legislation which redirects a percentage of tourist development tax funds collected by local <br />governments to support Visit Florida. <br />Section 4. A certified copy of this resolution shall be provided to the Governor Rick <br />Scott, the Speaker of the House, the President of the Senate and the Indian River County <br />Legislative Delegation. <br />The foregoing resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner O'Bryan, and <br />seconded by Vice -Chairman Flescher, and, upon being put to a vote, the vote was as follows: <br />Chairman Bob Solari <br />aye <br />Vice -Chairman Joseph E.
