b ` <br /> 19/96(REBO\hOris)LEGIAL(WGC/ahr) <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 96. 152 <br /> A RESOLUTION ON THE BOARD 01 COUNTY <br /> C0106IEBIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER Comm, FLORIDA, <br /> DESIGNATING THE "INDIAN RIVER COUNTY HORIZONTAL <br /> CONTROL NETWORK". <br /> WHBRSAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br /> Florida has adopted an ordinance set cut a■ Indian River County Code Section <br /> 913.07(6) (D) (10); and <br /> WHEREAS, said ordinance requires newly platted developments within <br /> one Mile of a monument established in the Indian River County Horizontal <br /> Control Network to be tied into that network; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is appropriate that the "indian River County Horizontal <br /> Control Network" be officially designated; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners <br /> of Indian River County, Florida, that the "Indian River County Horizontal <br /> Control Network" consists at this time of 52 monuments meeting Second Order <br /> Class ii Standards as published by the National Geodetic Survey and shown on <br /> the attachment to this resolution, and further described in a 1995 survey <br /> conducted by GCY, Inc., placed throughout Indian River County by GCY, Inc., <br /> under contract to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and in <br /> cooperation with the County, which monument positions were established using <br /> global positioning satellites and adjustments accomplished using the National <br /> Geodetic Survey software. The monuments within the "network" were tied to <br /> the Florida High Precision Network, the City of Vero Beach GPS network, and <br /> to St. Lucie and Brevard Counties GPS networks. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, since the Network is dynamic, tie-ins <br /> to the Indian River County Horizontal Control Network will be deemed for all <br /> intents and purposes to densify the Network. <br /> The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner Eggert <br /> and seconded by Commissioner _ Tlpp1n and, upon being put to a vote, the <br /> vote was as follows: <br /> Chairman Fran B.
