41, <br /> ,C;.. <br /> RESOLUTION NO,97. 141 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN <br /> RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, DENYING THE TRANSMITTAL OF A PROPOSED <br /> AMENDMENT TO THE INDIAN RIVER COUNTY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN TO THE <br /> STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS FOR THEIR <br /> REVIEW. <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners adopted the Indian River County <br /> Comprehensive Plan on February 13,1990,and <br /> WHEREAS,the county received comprehensive plan amendment applications during its July <br /> 1997 amendment submittal window,and <br /> WHEREAS,the Local Planning Agency held a public hearing on all comprehensive plan <br /> amendment requests on October 9, 1997 after due public notice,and <br /> WHEREAS,the Local Planning Agency voted 5 to 0 to recommend that the Board of County <br /> Commissioners deny the request to change the land use designation of the subject property and not <br /> transmit the comprehensive plan amendment listed below,and <br /> WHEREAS,The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County held a Transmittal <br /> Public Hearing on November 4, 1997 after advertising pursuant to F.S. 163.3184(15)(6)(1)and(c). <br /> NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY,FLORIDA THAT: <br /> 1. The above recitals are ratified in their entirety. <br /> 2. The following proposed amendment is denied for transmittal to the State of Florida <br /> Department of Community Affairs for written comment: <br /> Request to amend the Future Land Use Map of the Comprehensive Plan from AG-1, <br /> Agricultural-1(up to 1 unit/5 acre)to M-1,Medium-Density Residential- 1 (up to <br /> 8 units/acre)for f 18.8 acres located at the southeast comer of 661 Avenue and Oslo <br /> Road. <br /> The foregoing Resolution was offered by Commissioner Adams and <br /> seconded by Comnussioner r i nn and upon being put to a vote the vote was <br /> as follows: <br /> Chairman Carolyn K.Eggert Aye <br /> Vice-Chairman John W.Tippin Aye <br /> Commissioner Fran B.Adams Ayp <br /> Commissioner Caroline D.Ginn Aye <br /> Commissioner Kenneth R.Macht Nay <br /> The Chairman thereupon declared the resolution duly passed and adopted at a public hearing <br /> held this 4i°day of November 1997. <br /> ATTACHMENT 5 <br />
