DEC. <br />41995- <br />BOOK <br />N,c� <br />The <br />Planning staff felt that this would conflict <br />with the <br />State's rules for amending the Comprehensive Plan, but Attorney <br />Vitunac-gave the Board his opinion, that if this was advertised <br />properly and that Board wanted to continue it over to another <br />day, they could do so. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bird, to'defer action on enlarging <br />the Hospital/Commercial node until a future date to <br />be established by the Planning staff. <br />Further questions arose, and Planner Shearer continued to <br />stress that all staff wants the Board to do today is take action <br />on whether they want to enlarge the node to include the hospital, <br />but Chairman Lyons noted that staff was talking about including <br />more than just the hospital. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. <br />It was voted on and carried unanimously <br />Commissioner Wodtke wished to clarify if we can only discuss <br />changes in the Comprehensive Plan twice a year, and Planner <br />Shearer explained that if we should have an emergency or a <br />D.R.I., that would be different; but the state has said <br />specifically that local governments may amend their Comprehensive <br />Plans only twice during a year and they have rendered an opinion <br />that this means at two meetings during the year. <br />REZONING 6 REDESIGNATION REQUEST - TO COMMERCIAL (SR 60 6 KINGS <br />HIGHWAY - DEVELOPMENT PARTNERS, INC.) <br />The hour of 9:30 o'clock A.M. having passed, the Deputy <br />Clerk read the following Notices with Proof of Publication <br />attached, to -wit: <br />26 <br />
