WHEREAS,the construction improvements are in the interest of both the DEPARTMENT and <br /> the COUNTY and it would be more practical,expeditious,and economical for the COUNTY to <br /> perform such activities;and, <br /> WHEREAS,the e COUNTY b Resolution ,dated _,a copy <br /> of which is <br /> attached hereto and made a part hereof,is authorized to enter into this AGREEMENT. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,in consideration of the mutual benefits to be derived from joint <br /> participation on the PROJECT,the parties agree to the following: <br /> 1. The above recitals are true and correct and are deemed incorporated herein. <br /> 2. The COUNTY shall provide all design,construction and CEI services necessary to <br /> provide the improvements. <br /> 3. The COUNTY shall obtain a permit from the DEPARTMENT prior to the construction <br /> letting for the PROJECT. <br /> 4. The DEPARTMENT agrees to reimburse the COUNTY for direct construction costs, <br /> not to exceed FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS($50,000.00). The COUNTY shall <br /> utilize these funds for payment of County Project No,8823. These funds shall be <br /> distributed on one payment as follows: <br /> 2 <br />
