Wednesday, December 18, 1985 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Wednesday, <br />December 18, 1985, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Patrick B. <br />Lyons, Chairman; Don C. Scurlock, Jr., Vice Chairman; Richard N. <br />Bird; Margaret C. Bowman; and William C. Wodtke, Jr. Also <br />present were Michael J. Wright, County Administrator; L. S. <br />"Tommy" Thomas, Intergovernmental Relations Director; Charles P. <br />Vitunac, Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; and <br />Virginia Hargreaves, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Reverend Thomas Gensel, Grace United Methodist Church, <br />Wabasso, gave the invocation, and Commissioner Bowman led the <br />Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Administrator Wright wished to add the following items: <br />1. The FAA Tower Space Lease, which is now on the standard <br />County lease form. The equipment has been purchased and <br />FAA is very anxious to install it. It was felt this could <br />be added to the Consent Agenda. <br />2. Installation of temporary sewer facilities at the Fairgrounds. <br />The Administrator wished this added under his matters. <br />3. A discussion of financing for the golf course, which could be <br />added to discussion of the proposed golf course time table. <br />4. Report on Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council's decision <br />to appeal the Grand Harbor D.R.I. <br />Commissioner Scurlock requested the addition to the Consent <br />Agenda of a Proclamation re drugs, alcohol and driving. <br />County Attorney Vitunac wished to add under his matters a <br />Resolution accepting a gift of oceanfront property from the Lier <br />family and a contract to allow Kennedy Groves to give us an <br />access for a utility ea�ement in return for a cross easement in <br />BOOK FADE 0j, <br />LDEc 18 198 - <br />
