A <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County proposes to adopt a Fair Share Roadway <br />Improvements Ordinance to be applied to all land within the area shown in the map in this advertisement. , <br />A public hearing on the proposed ordinance will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 1986, at 5:15 p.m., in <br />the County Commission Chambers in the County Administration Building located at 1840 25th Street, Vero <br />Beach, Florida. <br />The purpose of this public hearing is to consider the adoption of a County Ordinance establishing a Fair <br />Share Roadway Improvements fee for all new land development activity generating traffic including <br />development in -the unincorporated part of the County and development within municipalties..The ordinance is <br />entitled: <br />AN ORDINANCE TO BE KNOWN AS THE INDIAN RIVER COUNTY FAIR SHARE ROADWAY <br />IMPROVEMENTS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR SHORT TITLE, AUTHORITY AND APPLICABILITY, <br />PROVIDING FOR INTENT AND PURPOSE; PROVIDING RULES OF CONSTRUCTION; PROVIDING <br />FOR DEFINITIONS; PROVIDING FOR THE IMPOSITION OF -A FAIR SHARE ROADWAY <br />IMPROVEMENTS FEE. ON ALL NEW LAND DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITY GENERATING TRAFFIC; <br />PROVIDING FOR TIME OF PAYMENT, PROVIDING FOR INTERPRETATION OF THE FEE SCHEDULE, <br />PROVIDING FOR CREDITS; PROVIDING FOR REVIEW OF THE ORDINANCE AND FEE SCHEDULE; <br />PROVIDING FOR USE OF FUNDS COLLECTED AND TRUST FUNDS; PROVIDING FOR <br />EXEMPTIONS; PROVIDING FOR LIBERAL CONSTRUCTION AND SEPARABILITY, PROVIDING FOR <br />PENALTIES; PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE DATE.' <br />The Ordinance establishes a fair share roadway improvements fee for various land use activities <br />based on which districtof the County the use is located in.
