The Indian River County Board of County Commissioners budgeted <br />$4,000.00 to be received from this grant and we received $6,648.00, therefore, we are <br />increasing revenue $2,648. These funds were to be expensed, half in Indian River <br />County Council on Aging and half in Sheltered Workshop. The expenditures were not <br />budgeted. This left a $4,000.00 shortfall which we are taking from General Fund <br />Contingencies. <br />Amount Remaining in Contingencies <br />001-199-581-99.91 Beginning Balance $375,000 <br />Adjustments to date (98,656) <br />Estimated adjustment <br />for 2001 Building (32,000) <br />Estimated Contingency $244,344 <br />Balance as of 1-15-86 <br />Commissioner Bird understood that while the receipt of the <br />grant was budgeted, the expenditure of the $4,000 was not, and <br />Administrator Wright confirmed it was just an oversight in the <br />budget process. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously approved <br />the above budget amendment, as recommended by <br />OMB Director Baird. <br />14 <br />
