ORDINANCE NO. 86 - 8 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION <br />23. 3 (d) (1) (e) OF APPENDIX A OF THE CODE OF LAWS AND <br />ORDINANCES, KNOWN AS THE ZONING CODE; PROVIDING FOR <br />REDUCING THE MINIMUM REQUIRED ONE-WAY DRIVEWAY WIDTH <br />FROM SIXTEEN (16) FEET TO TWELVE (12) FEET; AND PROVID- <br />ING FOR CODIFICATION; SEVERABILITY; REPEAL OF CONFLICT- <br />ING PROVISIONS; AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA that: <br />SECTION 1 <br />Section 23.3(d) (10) (e) entitled "DRIVEWAY WIDTH AND RADII" <br />or Ordinance #85-47 is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />e. Driveway width and radii. The following stan- <br />dards shall be utilized for all driveways. <br />These standards are minimums and are applicable <br />for car and van traffic only. These standards <br />may be increased in cases where a significant <br />amount of truck traffic is anticipated for <br />either the entire site or specific access <br />points.
