RETIREMENT AWARD FOR FIRE CHIEF FORREST SMITH <br />Chairman Scurlock presented a retirement award to Chief <br />Forrest Smith, and speaking for all the Commissioners, expressed <br />their appreciation of the leadership, cooperation and dedication <br />given by Chief Smith during his many years of service with the <br />Vero Beach Fire Department and the last five years as Chief of <br />the South County Fire District. <br />EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR AWARD <br />Chairman Scurlock presented Rocky Renda of the Utilities <br />Department the Employee of the Year award along with a check for <br />$100, and thanked him for his dedication to his job. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Chairman Scurlock asked if there were any additions or <br />corrections to the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of 12/11/85. <br />There were none. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wodtke, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously approved <br />the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of 12/11/85, as <br />written. <br />Chairman Scurlock asked if there were any additions or <br />corrections to the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of 12/18/85. <br />There were none. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wodtke, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously approved <br />the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of 12/18/85, as <br />written. <br />3 <br />L ,JAN 22 1936 <br />BOOK 63 FA,E 330 <br />
