Davis, P.E. �REFERENCES: Marsh <br />Public Works Director`/ all Sutton, Ed <br />Schlitt Realtors, to <br />Jan. 20, 1986 <br />Ed Schlitt, Realtors, is requesting that the payment period be extended <br />from 2 years to 5 years for the 16th Street paving assessment. <br />ALTIVES AND 71TILYSIS <br />The Petition Paving Account does not currently have sufficient funds to <br />Perpetuate the Program. If the payment period were extended, additional <br />seed money would have to be appropriated. Also, the County funded 70% of <br />this project. <br />Jv �,�lyi�i� l� a Y •l. <br />It is recommended that this request be denied due to the lack of funds in <br />the account. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, to deny the request for an <br />extension of the payment period as recommended by <br />staff. <br />Commissioner Lyons expressed his sympathy with their prob- <br />lem, but if they would rather not put out the funds now, he would <br />prefer they borrow from a bank rather than from the county. <br />Commissioner Wodtke asked if Ed Schlitt, Realtors, is aware <br />of the staff recommendation, and Director Davis stated that it <br />was copied to them. <br />Commissioner Wodtke asked if they will have the normal two <br />year payment period, and this was confirmed. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. <br />It was voted on and carried unanimously. <br />60 <br />r <br />L� <br />
