Presentation of Proclamation and Retirement Award Honoring Joseph Earman on <br />a.m. His Retirement from Indian River County Board of County Commissioners <br />Department of Emergency Services/Fire Rescue with Thirty -Five Years of <br />S ervice <br />1-2 <br />Chairman Solari read and presented the Proclamation and Retirement <br />Award. <br />Each Commissioner and Emergency Services Director John King thanked <br />Mr. Earman for his 35 years of service. <br />9:22 B. Update on the Educational Component for the Recycling Program <br />a.m. (memorandum dated November 29, 2015) <br />3 <br />Stephanie C. Vos, Recycling Education and Marketing Coordinator, Solid <br />Waste Disposal District, provided an update on the outreach efforts to <br />encourage recycling participation throughout the County. <br />Commissioner Davis asked staff to provide updates showing the Waste <br />Generation Rate Units (WGRUs), so the Board can decide where the focus <br />needs to be, to reach the State's recycling goal of 75% by 2020. <br />6.
