The Motion <br />was voted on and carried unanimously. <br />REAPPOINTMENTS TO CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wodtke, the Board unanimously <br />appointed Cal Streetman and Edna Craven to <br />3 -year terms on the Code Enforcement Board. <br />RESIGNATION OF BILL LEWIS FROM THE FINANCE ADVISORY COMMITTEE AND <br />HOUSING FINANCE AUTHORITY <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Lyons, the Board unanimously <br />accepted the resignation of Bill Lewis from the <br />Finance Advisory Committee and the Housing Finance <br />Authority and approved the recommendation to fill <br />the vacancy on both boards. <br />TRI -COUNTY COMMITTEE REPORT <br />Commissioner Bowman reported that the newly formed Committee <br />met last week and the minutes of that meeting will be coming in <br />shortly. The Committee will meet monthly on the last Thursday of <br />the month in St. Lucie County, and there will be quarterly <br />meetings of the general membership of the Tri -County Council of <br />Local Governments. They discussed issues they would like to <br />consider and began setting up subcommittees on transportation, <br />erosion, impact of legislation, resources, etc. Commissioner <br />Bowman reported that she was appointed chairman of the resource <br />sub- committee. She suggested that the Committee consider an <br />informational exchange on insurance plans and felt that OMB <br />Director Joe Baird might serve in that capacity. In addition, <br />the Committee decided to set up a legislative committee and she <br />felt that this committee should be represented by one of our <br />county attorneys.
