Wednesday, March 19, 1986 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Wednesday, <br />March 19, 1986, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Don C. <br />Scurlock, Jr., Chairman; Patrick B. Lyons, Vice Chairman; Richard <br />N. Bird; Margaret C. Bowman; and William C. Wodtke, Jr. Also <br />present were Charles P. Vitunac, Attorney to the Board of County <br />Commissioners; H. T. "Sonny" Dean, General Services Director; OMB <br />Director Joseph Baird; L. S. "Tommy" Thomas, Intergovernmental <br />Relations Director; and Barbara Bonnah, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Reverend Russell Burns of Westminster Presbyterian Church <br />gave the invocation, and Attorney Vitunac led the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Scurlock requested the following three additions to <br />today's Agenda: <br />1) A recommendation from the Utilities Department for some <br />temporary solutions to a problem at Humana Hospital. <br />2) Authorization.to apply for matching funds for Emergency <br />Management Assistance Program. <br />3) A report on a meeting with Fire Chief John Allen regarding <br />procedures of -reporting directly to the County Commission. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously added <br />the above items to today's Agenda. <br />2 s� QQ <br />MAR1 19BOOK �J Ft�,W.0 7 <br />
