INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br />Notice is hereby given that the Board of County Commissioners, Indian <br />River County, will hold a public hearing in the Commission Room, Indian <br />River County Administration Building, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, <br />Florida on Wednesday, the 19th day of March, 1986 at 9:15am to consider <br />an interim rate increase for the Indian River County Solid Waste Facility <br />(Landfill) . <br />The proposed rate increase will reflect the following changes: <br />Load <br />Type <br />Existing <br />Regular <br />Proposed <br />Fee <br />Regular Fee <br />A <br />B <br />$ 0.50/load <br />$ 1.00/load <br />1.50/load <br />(1) <br />C <br />D <br />9.00/ton <br />16.00/ton <br />E <br />6.00/ton <br />10.50/ton <br />F <br />5.00/load <br />9.00/load <br />G <br />22.00/ton <br />38.50/ton <br />H(2) <br />7.00/ton <br />12.50/ton <br />5.00/load <br />(3) <br />HT(2) <br />15.00/load <br />(3) <br />(1) For all loads of less than one ton, flat fees of $8.00 <br />(for regular loads) and $16.00 (for uncovered loads) <br />are recommended. For loads of one ton or more, the <br />recommended fees are the same as for Load C. <br />(2) "H" is a non -transporter septage load. "HT" is a trans- <br />porter septage load. <br />(3) For all loads of less than one ton, flat fees of $9.00 <br />are recommended. He explained that with our landfill.operation we have both <br />mystery and frustration.
