APR 2 1966 Boos 64 FACE 12 <br />Code. Based upon the generalized plot plan, the proposed dock <br />may be required to obtain a variance if it encroaches upon the <br />side yard setbacks for the RS -1 zoning district. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />It is recommended that the Board of County Commissioners._ <br />authorize staff to forward the following comment regarding this <br />project to the Florida Department of Environmental Regulation: <br />1) The Department of Environmental Regulation and other <br />appropriate agencies should consider the potential <br />cumulative impacts of dockage projects upon the Florida <br />Manatee. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by Commis- <br />sioner Bird, the Board unanimously authorized staff to <br />forward the recommended comment to the DER. <br />F. Alternatives and Analvsis <br />The base station must be declared as surplus property <br />so it can be advertised and sold to the best bidder. <br />3.
