The lights are already in place and all we have to <br />do is set up the budget process and assess through a municipal <br />service taxing unit. <br />Commissioner Lyons noted that the City has stopped providing <br />electricity to poles for so much a month and they no longer have <br />a rate structure for it, and Chairman Scurlock pointed out that <br />they just did not want the nuisance of handling the service on <br />individual poles. <br />Chairman Scurlock opened the Public Hearing and asked if <br />anyone wished to be heard in this matter. There were none. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wodtke, the Board unanimously closed <br />the Public Hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Ordinance 86-25, creating the Porpoise Point Municipal <br />Service Taxing Unit for the purpose of street lighting. <br />18 <br />
