ROOK 64 <br />non -conforming, and the mobile home owners would like to be able <br />to build single family homes in the future. Staff is recommend- <br />ing that we do some further study in this area and come back with <br />a county -initiated request to rezone all or part of this area to <br />single family. There are particular areas where staff feels we <br />can go that way, but there are some areas where it is predomi- <br />nantly mobile homes. <br />Commissioner Lyons requested that a copy of the proposed <br />Roseland Small Area Plan be given to Mr. Mensing. <br />Commissioner Bowman asked for clarification of the area in <br />question, and Mr. Mensing stated that the boundaries are south <br />from Helen Hanson Park at Orr Avenue (80th St.) to the City of <br />Sebastian and from the railroad tracks west to 150' west of Haven <br />View, which is 126th St. <br />Commissioner Bowman noted that she has been waiting for <br />years to have the newspaper advertisements specifically identify <br />the area, but the legal notices are still giving descriptions <br />according to the section. <br />Planner Shearer informed her that staff tries to include a <br />map of the area in these advertisements even though it is <br />expensive to do so. <br />ARCHITECT'S REPORT ON PHASE II OF THE JAIL <br />George Bail of Frizzell Architects reviewed the following <br />letter dated 4/3/86: <br />30 <br />
