The council <br />is made up of many concerned citizens of Indian River County, <br />It has been suggested that we invite a member of the County <br />Commission to participate in the Council We feel that our organization <br />can be a tremendous help in our county by lobbying for our children. <br />If you are unable to attend the next meeting please feel free to <br />send a representative from the County Commission. <br />Enclosed you will find some information concerning the Governor's <br />Constituency and the minutes from our January and February meetings. <br />We all look forward to seeing you at our next meeting which will <br />be.on April 17th, at 7:00 P.M., at the County School Board office. <br />Sincerely, j <br />Kathy Beezley, R.N. <br />Membership Committee <br />Chairman <br />Commissioner Bird reported that when he was first asked to <br />serve on this council, he was caught completely by surprise and <br />had hoped to attend their next meeting before giving them his <br />decision. Unfortunately, he was unable to attend that meeting, <br />but if the Board wishes to have a representative on the council, <br />he would be glad to serve. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously <br />appointed Commissioner Bird to the Indian River <br />Council of the Governor's Constituency. <br />58 <br />
