Wednesday, April 16, 1986 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Wednesday, <br />April 16, 1986, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Don C. <br />Scurlock, Jr., Chairman; Patrick B. Lyons, Vice Chairman; Richard <br />N. Bird; Margaret C. Bowman; and William C. Wodtke, Jr. Also <br />present were Michael J. Wright, County Administrator; L. S. <br />"Tommy" Thomas, Intergovernmental Relations Director; Charles P. <br />Vitunac, Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; and <br />Virginia Hargreaves, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Reverend William Wolfe, Living Lord Lutheran Church, gave <br />the invocation, and Commissioner Bowman led the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Scurlock asked that Item 6.H, re the 50� surcharge <br />for the 911 system be deleted and presented on a future agenda. <br />He also asked that Item 8 re award of the Golf Course Bonds be <br />made a time certain item and set at 11:15 A.M. <br />Administrator Wright advised that a representative of the <br />architect is coming to discuss the golf course irrigation bids, <br />and he also has a proposed contract from Architect Charles Block <br />re the golf course clubhouse; he would like discussion of both of <br />these items added at the same time set for award of the bonds. <br />Attorney Vitunac wished to add the two Resolutions the Bond <br />Counsel will be bringing with him at 11:15 A.M. - one amending a <br />previous Bond Resolution and the other awarding the bonds. <br />Commissioner Lyons requested the addition under his items of <br />a discussion re offering a reward for return of the County quilt. <br />�.P 16 1996 BOOK FADE 1P37 t <br />
