Fr'_ <br />APR 16 1986 <br />BOOK 6-4 F -Al- 290 <br />or. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 86-21 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY RESTRICTING THE PERSONAL USE OF <br />COUNTY -OWNED VEHICLES. <br />WHEREAS, the responsibilities of certain County Employees <br />require that those employees have a County -owned vehicle at their <br />disposal at all times; and <br />WHEREAS, such employees are required to commute to and <br />from work in a County -owned vehicle; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intent of the Board to prohibit per- <br />sonal use of such a vehicle for other than commuting purposes; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY that County personnel, <br />under the Board of County Commissioners, whose employment re- <br />sponsibilities require them to have access to County -owned <br />vehicles at all times, and to use such vehicles to commute to and <br />from work each day, are prohibited from using such vehicles for <br />other than work-related and commuting purposes. <br />The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner <br />Lyons who moved its adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Wodtke and, upon being put to a vote, the vote was as <br />f ollows : <br />Chairman Don <br />C.
