RESOLUTION NO. 86-23 <br />4/24/86(EG(Vk) <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING A RATE INCREASE <br />FOR RURUAL SANITATION SERVICE AND <br />HARRIS SANITATION, INC. OF 90f PER <br />MONTH AS A RESULT OF COUNTY -IMPOSED <br />INCREASED LANDFILL DUMPING FEES. <br />WHEREAS, both Rural Sanitation Service and Harris <br />Sanitation, Inc. are franchisees under franchise given by the Board <br />of County Commissioners to collect and haul garbage and trash to the <br />County dump sites; and <br />WHEREAS, effective April 15, 1986, the County increased <br />the dumpage fees at the County landfill site; and <br />WHEREAS, as a result, both Rural Sanitation Service and <br />Harris Sanitation, Inc. have requested a rate increase of 90t per <br />month for the typical customer to reimburse them for their increased <br />dumping fees; and <br />WHEREAS, as a result 'of a duly ' noticed public hearing held <br />on April 23, 1986, at 10:30 A.M. , the Board of County Commissioners <br />approved this rate increase; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by Indian River County, <br />throu-gh its Board of County Commissioners, that effective April 23, <br />1986, both. Rural Sanitation Service and Harris Sanitation, Inc. are <br />authorized to increase their rates by 90� per month per residential <br />customer so that the original dumping charge will be increased as <br />follows: <br />$1.75 - Original Dumping Charge <br />.90 - Increase <br />2.65 - TOTAL <br />The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner Wodtke <br />and seconded by Commissioner Bird, and, being put to a vote, the <br />vote was as follows: <br />Chairman Don C.
