INDIAN RIVER COUNTY
MEMORANDUM
(;()NSk.NT
6r -
TO: Joseph A. Baird
County Administrator
DEPARTMENT HEAD CONCURRENCE:
Stan Boling, A P
Community De
ment Director
THROUGH: Roland M. DeBlois, AICP °r'
Chief, Environmental Planning
& Code Enforcement
FROM: Kelly Buck7
Code Enforcement Officer
DATE: 12/7/2015
RE: Eric and Emily Gruber's Request for Release of Easements at 6745 65th Street
(Essa Affidavit of Exemption)
It is requested that the Board of County Commissioners formally consider the following information at
the Board's regular meeting on December 15, 2015.
DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS
The County has been petitioned by Eric and Emily Gruber, owners of two adjacent parcels at 6745 65th
Street within the Essa Affidavit of Exemption (AOE), for release of common 7.5 foot drainage and utility
easements between the two parcels. The purpose of the easements release request is to allow for
development of a residence on the combined parcels (see attached maps).
ANALYSIS
The request has been reviewed by AT&T; Florida Power & Light Corporation; Comcast Cable Services;
the Indian River County Utilities Department; the County Road & Bridge and Engineering Divisions;
and the County Surveyor. None of the utility providers or reviewing agencies expressed an objection to
the requested release of easements. Therefore, it is staff's position that the requested easements release
would have no adverse impact to drainage or to utilities being supplied to the subject property or to other
properties.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Board, through adoption of the attached resolution, approve release of the
common 7.5 foot drainage and utility easements described in the resolution.
40
