Economic Ad Valorem Tax Exemption Program — Reduced qualification criteria <br /> ■ Was available to business expansions in EZ with at least one new employee. <br /> Incentive never actually used by EZ business in IRC. <br /> ■ Per FL statutes, this option ceased with the sun-setting of the Enterprise Zone Act <br /> (not possible to maintain) <br /> ■ Separate item from county attorney to advertise for public hearing to amend <br /> ordinance to remove EZ qualification criteria <br /> ■ Action Requested: Allow staff to amend tax abatement application form: remove <br /> reduced qualification criteria related to the EZ <br /> OZ36-3 <br />
