BOOK 64 F'nF. 40 <br />the consultant's report with the idea that this <br />can be used by the Advisory Committee in preparing <br />for the bond issue that will be on the September <br />2nd ballot. <br />Commissioner Wodtke realized the report recommends 8.2 <br />million, but asked if the Advisory Committee is comfortable with <br />that figure or possibly could sell a lesser figure easier. <br />Commissioner Lyons noted that is why he used the term "up <br />to" 8.2 million to allow some flexibility. <br />Attorney Vitunac inquired if this will be a G.O. bond for <br />the county and whether the intent is to create a special district <br />after the referendum. <br />Commissioner Lyons confirmed it would be a G.O. bond, and - <br />the special district is an option that is available. <br />Discussion continued re the fact that a special district <br />could set a cap, and Commissioner Lyons noted that when you set <br />up a bond issue it has a certain millage, and he believed that in <br />itself is a cap. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. <br />It was voted on and carried unanimously. <br />PROCLAMATION- OLDER AMERICANS MONTH <br />Chairman Scurlock read the following Proclamation aloud and <br />presented it to Arlene Fletcher, Council on Aging, Betty La Gue, <br />AARP, Robert Franks and John Kirchner. <br />54 <br />
