DAVIS, P.E. <br />PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR' <br />FROM: DONALD G.,1SRA <br />RIGHT OF WAY AGENT <br />DESCRIPTION <br />SUBJECT: 20TH AVENUE EXTENSION <br />RIGHT OF WAY ACQUISITION <br />REFERENCES: <br />One parcel is involved requiring a 32' foot x 810' foot acquisition <br />for right of way to extend 20th Avenue. <br />Mr. Edmund N. Ansin, owner of the parcel is not willing to donate <br />the right of way. The attached letter indicates that -Mr. Ansin will <br />settle for $6,800.00 per acre which equates to $4,050.00 for the <br />.595 acre parcel. The property appraiser's records..indicate a just <br />value of $ 6,800.00 per acre for the property. <br />RECOMMENDATION & FUNDING <br />Staff requests authorization to purchase the .595 acre for $4,050.00. <br />This completes all right of way acquisitions for the 20th Avenue <br />extension project. Funding to be from fund 109 - <br />Existing balance $4,830,000.00 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wodtke, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Lyons, the Board unanimously authorized <br />staff to purchase the .595 acre right-of-way for <br />$4,050, in order to complete all right-of-way <br />acquisition for the 20th Avenue extension project. <br />K. <br />Approval of Promissory Notes for_Paving_& Drainage <br />Improvement Assessments <br />The Board reviewed letters from Tax Collector Gene Morris <br />asking that Rafeal Lombard, Robert A. and Addie L.
