TERRY <br />CIVIL ENGINEER <br />PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER <br />RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE <br />PAVING OF 141ST STREET, BOTH <br />AVENUE, 81ST AVENUE AND 45TH <br />AVENUE <br />REFERENCES: <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Petitions have been received fromro <br />p perty owners of the following streets.. <br />1) <br />141st Street from 81st <br />Avenue to 79th Avenue <br />(Preliminary Cost <br />$22,182.70, 61% consent, <br />Administration Approval); <br />2) <br />80th Avenue 1300'± North of 142nd Street <br />(Preliminary Cost <br />$47,630.48, 82% consent); <br />3) <br />81st Avenue from 140th <br />Street to 142nd. Street <br />(preliminary Cost <br />$20,548.74, 61% consent, <br />Administration Approval); <br />4) <br />45th Avenue from 9th Place to Dead End (Preliminary <br />Cost $12,844.47, <br />78% consent). <br />Preliminary assessment rolls have been prepared for the paving and drainage <br />improvements. The total costs of these projects is approximately <br />$103,206.39. There is approximately $98,501.77 (as money from other roads <br />is replenished to the Petition Paving Account, these road will be paved) in <br />the FY85/86 budget for Petition Paving, Account No. 703-214-541-35.39. <br />Also, advertisement of the Public Hearing and notifications to the property <br />owners has been performed. <br />RECOMMENDATION AND FUNDING. <br />After consideration of the public input provided at the Public Hearing, it <br />is recammended that motions be made to: <br />1) Adopt resolutions, providing for the paving and drainage improvements <br />for each petition paving project, subject to the terms outlined in the <br />Resolutions. The applicable interest rate shall be 1% over the Prime <br />Rate at the time the final assessment roll is approved. <br />2) Approve preliminary assessment rolls including any changes made as a <br />result of the Public Hearing. <br />3) Allocate $103,206.39 from the Petition Paving Account to fund this <br />work. <br />4) The Road and Bridge Department be notified to schedule construction, <br />probably in May and June, 1986 or when funding is available. <br />33 <br />BOOK 6, 4 u, F- 490 <br />
