O'Bnfan <br />District 4 <br />Re: Concessionaire Contract No. 00252 between the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation <br />Commission and Indian River County for the Indian River County Public Shooting Range <br />Dear Mr Wiley, <br />On behalf of the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County please accept this letter as Indian <br />River County's request to renew the concessionaire coritract between the Commission and Indian River <br />County dated March 13, 2001. In accordance with the contract, the County is requesting a renewal of the <br />contract for an additional term of 10 years. The contract is set to expire on March 12, 2016. <br />At a meeting of the Board of County Commissioners on September 15, 2015. the Board unanimously <br />approved by a vote of 5 to 0 the request to renew the contract between the Commission and the County. <br />The Indian River County Public Shooting Range has enjoyed growth and success since its inception. In <br />July, 2014 the shooting range was pleased to host the Master's Shooting Contest which featured over 200 <br />participants during a three day period. In working with the Commission, the County is looking forward to <br />expanding the role of gun safety and hunter education in the near future. <br />The Board looks forward with great anticipation to renewing and extending this agreement with the <br />Commission for an additional ten years. <br />Sincerely, <br />Wesley S.
