Baird, County Administrator <br />From: Vincent Burke, P.E., Director of Utility Services <br />Prepared By: Arjuna Weragoda, P.E., Capital Projects Manager A(P <br />Subject: Final Pay to M&M for WO No.7- North Sebastian Sewer Design —Commercial Area <br />of Phase 1 <br />DESCRIPTIONS AND CONDITIONS: <br />On October 21, 2014, the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) approved Work <br />Order No. 7 for a lump sum amount of $155,220.00 with Masteller and Moler, Inc. (M&M) to provide <br />professional services for the design, permitting, preparation of construction plans for the North <br />Sebastian Sewer and Water Main Design for the Commercial Area of Phase 1. On May 5, 2015 Work <br />Order No.1 under the Extension and Amendment of the Continuing Services Contract Agreement for <br />Professional Services with Masteller and Moler, Inc. dated November 4, 2014 to include Davis Street <br />in the design was approved by the County Administrator for a total sum of $4,985.00. <br />ANALYSIS: <br />Now that the design, permitting, preparation of construction plans have been completed <br />satisfactorily, M&M is requesting final payment. Payment in the amount of $1,352.70 as final pay <br />will complete the County's obligation to the consultant. <br />FUNDING: <br />Funds for this project are derived from capital funding. Capital fund revenues are generated from <br />impact fees. Furthermore, new growth has created the need for the expansion or construction of <br />the facilities, and that new growth will benefit from the expansion or construction of the facilities. <br />Description <br />Account No. <br />Amount <br />N.
