MAY 2 8 1996 BOOK 64 5,56 <br />5-14-86(AA)uti1TTP <br />AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />and <br />STEVE BARNETT IMPORTS <br />For Certain Utility Installations <br />THIS AGREEMENT made this 28,th day of May <br />1986, by and between INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, a political subdivision of <br />the State of Florida, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960, <br />(County) , and STEVE BARNETT IMPORTS, PO BOX 908 , <br />Ft. Pierce, FL 33454, (Developer) , <br />W I T N E S S E T H: <br />WHEREAS, Developer has purchased water taps equivalent to 5 <br />ERUs at a cost of $1,140 each for a total of $5,700.00 for the <br />development of the Developer's project at STEVE BARNETT IMPORTS; and <br />WHEREAS, in addition, the County has required the Developer <br />to construct and pay for approximately 550 feet 16 -inch water main and <br />appurtenances, which main is oversized 8 inches to comply with the <br />County Master Plan for water main extensions, from plans engineered by <br />and paid for by the County; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the premises and <br />other good and valuable consideration, the County and the Developer - <br />agree as follows: <br />1. The Developer shall pay $5,700.00 to the County, which is <br />the cost of five ERU water connections at $1,140.00 each. <br />2. The Developer shall construct and pay for approximately <br />550 feet of 16 -inch water main and appurtenances and shall be <br />reimbursed $8,800.00 by the County for oversizing the water main by <br />eight inches. This reimbursement is calculated as follows: <br />8" water main @2.00 <br />per inch per foot = $16.00 per foot x 550' <br />TOTAL <br />$8,800.00 <br />3. All utility impact fees must be paid before issuance of a <br />building permit. Construction of the water main and appurtenances must <br />be completed before the certificate of occupancy is issued and the <br />reimbursement made. <br />4. The Developer agrees to provide all necessary perpetual <br />easements for the proposed water line should adequate land not be <br />available in the County Right -of -Way. <br />
