# 5 - , Grall Field is located at 3850 17th Place behind Rosewood Elementary. There is one field <br />of Little League (200 ft.) length. This is a girl's softball field with 60 ft. base paths and 46 ft. pitching <br />plate. The field is a skinned clay infield. The field sits on Indian River School District property but is <br />leased and maintained by Indian River Sports Complex group. <br /># 6 - Bob Summers Field -is located at 3451 Indian River Drive just east of the Barber Bridge. <br />There is one field of Youth Baseball (300 ft.) length. This field accommodates a 10 to 14 years of age <br />players. The base paths are 70 ft. and pitching mound is permanent at 50 ft. The field has a grass infield <br />for baseball. The property is owned by the City of Vero Beach and is leased and maintained by the Vero <br />Beach Baseball Association. <br /># 7 - 16th Street Sports Complex is located at 170016th Street just across from Vero Beach <br />High School. There are three fields on this site. Sampson Field is the largest and is the field closest to the <br />Citrus Bowl. This field is Youth Baseball (300 ft.) length. The field accommodates up to 14 years of age. <br />There are multiple base lengths available and the pitching mound is portable. The infield is skinned clay. <br />The property is owned by Indian River County and is leased to Indian River Sports Complex who <br />operates, maintains and programs the fields. The second field is Riley Field, it has a fence length of <br />(280ft). This field can accommodate multiple age groups up to 13 years of age. There are multiple base <br />lengths and has a portable mound. The infield is skinned clay. The property is owned by Indian River <br />County and is leased to Indian River Sports Complex who operates, maintains and programs the fields. <br />The third field is known as the little league or girls field. It located on the North West corner of the <br />complex. It has a Little League Baseball (200 ft.) fence length. The field accommodates up to 12 years of <br />age. The pitching mound is portable and it has a skinned clay infield. The property is owned by Indian <br />River County and leased to Indian River Sports Complex who operates, maintains and programs the <br />fields. <br /># 8 - Historic Dodgertown is located at 390126 1h Street just south of the Vero Beach Airport. <br />This is a multiple use facility that has five (5) High School size (Over 325 ft.) baseball fields. Each of the <br />five fields have permanent pitching mounds at 60' 6" and base paths at 90 ft. The infields on these five <br />fields are grass. These fields are used for High School, College, and Professional baseball. There also is a <br />quad (4) (220 ft. fence) multi use baseball / softball fields with a center press box on the property. This <br />quad is a skinned clay infield with portable pitching mounds. The quad fields can be used by Little <br />League baseball or Little League, High School and College softball. The property is owned by Indian <br />River County and leased to Vero Town LLC. Vero Town maintains, operates and programs the facility as <br />Historic Dodgertown. <br />80 <br />
