Public Works Director Chris Mora presented a <br /> description and conditions on the petition millings <br /> project on 51s' Avenue requested by 74.04% of the <br /> property owners of the Winter Beach Highlands <br /> Subdivision. He asked the Board to approve the <br /> Resolutions providing for the millings installation and <br /> setting a time and place for the Public Hearing to <br /> determine the advisability of proceeding with the <br /> proposed project. <br /> Commissioner Davis expressed concerns about the <br /> paving assessment for an individual property owner <br /> who owns multiple lots; however, he stated he would <br /> move this item forward for the public hearing. <br /> ON MOTION by Commissioner Davis, SECONDED <br /> by Vice Chairman Flescher, the Board unanimously <br /> approved Resolution 2016-023, providing for certain <br /> asphalt milling improvements to 51s' Avenue between <br /> 65th Street and 67th Street in the Winter Beach <br /> Highlands Subdivision and 2 parcels immediately <br /> south and abutting 51" Avenue, providing the total <br /> estimated cost, method of payment of assessments, <br /> number of annual installments, and legal description <br /> of the area specifically benefited. <br /> ON MOTION by Commissioner Davis, SECONDED <br /> by Commissioner Flescher, the Board unanimously <br /> approved Resolution 2016-024, setting a time and <br /> place at which the owners of property on 51St Avenue <br /> in the Winter Beach Highlands Subdivision and 2 <br /> parcels immediately south and abutting 51St Avenue <br /> and other interested persons may appear before the <br /> Board of County Commissioners and be heard as to <br /> the propriety and advisability of making asphalt <br /> milling improvements to said property, as to the cost <br /> thereof, as to the manner of payment therefor, and as <br /> to the amount thereof to be specifically assessed <br /> against each property benefited thereby. <br /> G.
