Brescia, P.E. to South Relief Canal <br />County Engineer <br />FROM: Michelle A. Terry <br />Civil Engineer REFERENCES: <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The paving of 9th Court is complete. The final cost and <br />preliminary estimate for the work was: <br />Final Cost/FF Prelim. Const/FF Final Cost Prelim. Est <br />9th Court $9.0439 $9.71 $18,446.73 $19,595.90 <br />All construction cost are under the original estimate. The Final <br />Assessment Roll has been prepared and is ready to be delivered to the <br />Clerk to the Board. Assessments are to be paid within 90 days or in <br />two equal installments, the first to be made twelve months from the due <br />date and the second to be made twenty-four months from the due date at <br />an interest rate of 1% over the Prime Rate established by the Board of <br />County Commissioners. The due date is 90 days after the final <br />determination of the special assessments. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />Since the final assessment to the benefited owners will be less than <br />computed on the preliminary assessment rolls, the only alternative <br />presented is to approve the final assessment rolls. <br />RECOMMENDATION AND FUNDING <br />It is recommended that the Final Assessment Rolls for the paving of 9th <br />Court be approved by the Board of County Commissioners and that they be <br />transferred to the Office of the Clerk to the Board for collection. <br />20 <br />
