urgency to meet all these requirements. <br />Boa 64 815 <br />He further noted that <br />the Motion at our meeting last week basically authorized the <br />issuance of these bonds pending approval by the Economic <br />Development Commission, and since that contingency has been met, <br />he felt this was just a follow up resolution. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wodtke, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Bird, the Board unanimously (4-0) adopted <br />Resolution 86-37 authorizing the execution and delivery <br />of a Letter of Intent and Inducement Agreement to <br />Florida Convalescent Centers, Inc., with respect to <br />issuance of 4.8 million industrial revenue bonds. <br />Attorney Vitunac asked for permission to have the public <br />hearing at 10 o'clock A.M. on July 16th, and the Board had no <br />objections. <br />Commissioner Wodtke expressed concern about the use of local <br />contractors in the building of the proposed facility. <br />Attorney Vitunac felt the Board certainly could encourage <br />the use of local contractors, but pointed out that state law <br />requires competitive bidding. <br />38 <br />
