,JUL 2 1986 <br />Boos 64 F,�G 8'38 <br />RECOMMENDATION AND FUNDING <br />The Selection Committee recommends that staff and a representative <br />from the Vero Lake Estates Subdivision be authorized to begin contract <br />negotiations with the following firms. in the prescribed order as listed <br />below: <br />1) Beindorf and Associates -Vero Beach, Florida <br />2) Stottler, Stagg and Associates -Cape Canaveral, Florida <br />3) Gee and Jensen West Palm Beach, Florida <br />4) Boyle Engineering Corp. -Orlando, Florida <br />Once a contract is prepared, the Board of County Commissioners will <br />be requested to aprove the Contract. Funding shall be from the Vero <br />Lake Estates MSTU. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wodtke, the Board unanimously (4-0) <br />authorized staff to begin negotiations with the <br />recommended firms as set out in the above memo for <br />professional engineering service in the Vero Lakes <br />Estates Drainage Study. <br />I. PINTO <br />DIRECTOR, UTILITY SERVIC S <br />SUBJECT: AGREEMENTSFOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br />MASTELLER & MOLER, INC. <br />BACKGROUND <br />On April 24, 1985, an agreement for professional services was <br />executed between Sippel, Masteller, Lorenz & Hoover, Inc., and <br />Indian River County. This agreement allowed the consulting engi- <br />neers to provide general consulting and engineering services for <br />water main extensions, storage tanks and relating systems, as needed <br />and authorized from time to time by the County. <br />On June 5, 1985, an agreement for professional services wasexecutedbetween Masteller & Moler_ Associates, Inc., and Indian River County. <br />The agreement allowed the consulting engineers to provide general <br />consulting and engineering services for wastewater treatment plants, <br />lift stations, main extensions and relating systems, as needed and <br />authorized from time to time by the County. <br />10 <br />
