Tuesday, July 15, 1986 <br />The Board.of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Special Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, <br />July 15, 1986, at 5:01 o'clock P.M. Present were Don C <br />Scurlock, Jr., Chairman; Richard N. Bird; Margaret C. Bowman; and <br />William C. Wodtke, Jr. Absent were Patrick B. Lyons, Vice <br />Chairman and L.S. "Tommy" Thomas, Acting County Administrator. <br />Also present were Charles P. Vitunac, Attorney to the Board of <br />County Commissioners; and Virginia Hargreaves, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order, announced that it <br />was for the purpose of considering amendments to the County's <br />Comprehensive Plan, and reviewed the rules of procedure to be <br />followed during the public hearing. -He reported that the <br />Commission has received over 500 letters opposing Vista <br />Properties request to amend the Comprehensive Plan and to rezone <br />7.4 acres to Limited Commercial and he requested that they have <br />representatives speak for them to try to limit repetition. <br />i'he hour of 5:01 o'clock P.M. having passed the Deputy Clerk <br />read the following Notice with Proof of Publication attached, <br />to -wit: <br />BOOK 65 PAGE 01 <br />
