F71UL 15 1986 <br />BOOK 65 Pu. 10 <br />Planner Shearer noted that most of the County -initiated <br />amendments are housekeeping matters. In regard to the comments <br />made by the state, he advised that one of these has been taken <br />care of because one of the original applications, which had <br />requested a medium density residential classification, amended <br />their request to RR -2. He advised that this is a preliminary <br />public hearing, and there will be another one two weeks from <br />tonight. No official action will be taken tonight but recom- <br />mendations will be made so that the public will have an idea as <br />to what will transpire at the final hearing. <br />ITEM #3 - Vista_ Properties_ request to amend the Comprehensive <br />Plan by creating_a 10 acre commercial node on the east side of <br />U.S.2 at the intersection of U.S.1 and Vista Royale Boulevard and <br />to rezone 7.4 acres to limited commercial. <br />Planner Shearer reviewed the following memo, noting that <br />there is a discrepancy between the agenda item and the actual <br />acreage; the acreage to be changed to CL should be 5.535 acres: <br />TO: The Honorable Members DATE: July 2, 1986 FILE <br />of the Board of County <br />Commissioners <br />DIVISION HEAD CONCURRENCE: <br />SUBJECT: <br />Robert M.
