After 5 months staff hates to <br />go back on their original recommendation. <br />Board members pointed out that staff now has new informa- <br />tion, and Chairman Scurlock inquired if staff were considering <br />this now and had the right timeframe whether they would be in <br />favor of the request. <br />Planner Shearer felt they might be for some of it, but he <br />did not know about 30 acres. <br />Commissioner Bird did not feel if the applicant were in here <br />with their overall development plan that we would force them to <br />put a golf course residential community right up to Wabasso Board <br />but that we would be looking for some kind of transition area. <br />The Board suggested that staff meet with the applicant and <br />go over this again to see what can be worked out before any final <br />action is taken. <br />ITEM #17 — COUNTY -INITIATED REQUEST_to.enlarge the 1-95/CR 512 <br />Commercial/Industrial Node to 1000 acres <br />Attorney Michael O'Haire appeared representing owners on the <br />south side of CR 512 and stated that any of the alternatives for <br />increasing the node proposed by staff in the following memo are <br />fine with them. <br />43 <br />
