She did not see anything in the - <br />ordinance that would preclude doctors' offices. <br />Mr. Shearer explained that staff's recommendation is to <br />delete "health care services" from the ordinance. <br />Director Keating felt that if the Board wished, staff could <br />go back and look at what areas throughout the county -would have <br />the potential for redevelopment. the potential for red <br />Commissioner Lyons asked why AIA is excluded from this use, <br />and Chairman Scurlock believed we should face facts; it is <br />excluded because AIA is on the beach. Commissioner Lyons felt <br />that what is sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander. <br />Chairman Scurlock suggested going back and identifying <br />exactly where this zoning use would be allowed. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />I}6 <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board by a vote of 3-2, <br />Commissioners Bird and Wodtke dissenting, rejected <br />the proposed ordinance in its present form and <br />instructed staff to consider developing a Redevelopment <br />District in its place. <br />RECONSIDERATION OF THE WINTER BEACH PRECISE LAND USE MAP <br />Chairman Scurlock announced that he would not be present in <br />the room during the next two'Public Hearings even though he no <br />longer has an interest in the Fopasclo parcel of property on <br />Winter Beach Road, and turned the meeting over to Vice Chairman <br />Lyons. <br />35 <br />
