U U L 23 19bu" BOOK 65 PAGE 2i4 <br />he has not yet discussed with the Sheriff his telephone needs in <br />the building, <br />Commissioner Lyons suggested that the Sheriff Dobeck and <br />Director Dean get together and come up with the answer on the <br />telephone issue. <br />Sheriff Dobeck reported that he has talked with AT&T and <br />they have been aadvising us on how best to do the Administrative <br />Building, as well as the Jail, and whether one or two systems <br />would be best. <br />Mr. Block suggested that a consultant be hired for $1000 to <br />design the system before it goes out to bid, and the -Sheriff <br />agreed that might be the best way to go. The Commissioners <br />agreed also. <br />Mr. Bldck pointed out that there are no furnishings in the <br />contract, except for what we have been able to get from the <br />existing facility, but this cost is not part of the contract that <br />is going out for bid. <br />Commissioner Bowman was concerned about the heat insulation <br />to be used at the Jail, Mr. Block assured her that they have <br />exceeded the minimums required by the State Codes. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wodtke, the Board unanimously authorized <br />staff to go out for bid on the construction of the <br />Sheriff's Administration Building. <br />BURGLARY DETECTION SYSTEM FOR PURCHASING WAREHOUSE <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 7/22/86: <br />81 <br />
