SECTION 1- Technical Specifications <br /> STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS <br /> A. All work of this Contract shall conform to the applicable technical specifications of <br /> Florida Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge <br /> Construction, 2013, and Supplemental Specification, Special Provisions and <br /> addenda thereto, except as modified and supplemented hereinafter. Reference to <br /> Article numbers herein-after apply to the FDOT Standard Specifications, and <br /> reference in FDOT Standard Specifications to Department shall be taken as the <br /> Owner or its appointed Representative. Wherever the Specifications, <br /> Supplementals, etc. may refer to the "Owner", "Department", "State of Florida <br /> Department of Transportation", or words relating to offices of State Government, <br /> such words shall be taken as meaning Owner or Indian River County, Florida. <br /> Wherever the word "Owner's Engineer", "District Engineer", "Engineer", "Project <br /> Engineer", etc., appears, it shall be taken to mean the Registered Professional <br /> Project Engineer of the Indian River County Public Works Department, Engineering <br /> Division acting directly or through duly authorized representatives. Wherever the <br /> word "Resident Engineer" appears, it shall be taken to mean an authorized <br /> representative of the Owner's Engineer on the Project (Resident Construction <br /> Inspector) who will act as an agent for Indian River County, assigned to observe <br /> the progress quantity and quality of the work. <br /> The work to be performed per line items 700 through 711 shall conform to the <br /> applicable standards of Indian River County Typical Drawings for Pavement <br /> Markings, Signing & Geometrics Dated July, 2011. <br /> SECTION 4- SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Section 4-3.9 Value Engineering Incentive is deleted in its entirety. <br /> SECTION 101 - MOBILIZATION <br /> The work specified in this section shall conform to Section 101 of the Florida Department of <br /> Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. (2013 Edition) <br /> PART 1 - GENERAL <br /> 1.01 The work specified in this section shall include: <br /> A. Record/As-Built Drawings shall be done and conform to Section 108 of the <br /> Technical Specifications and included in Mobilization. <br /> B. Field engineering and layout shall be in conformance to Section 01050, Field <br /> Engineering and Layout of Division 1, General Requirements. <br /> C. Public Construction Bond shall be done and conform to Section 00610—Public <br /> Construction Bond <br /> D.
