8/7/86(B4)LE=nm) <br />RESOLUTION NO. 86-51 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY, FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR <br />STATUTORY PER DIEM COMPENSATION FOR <br />1986 PROPERTY APPRAISAL ADJUSTMENT <br />BOARD MEMBERS. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has <br />appointed Margaret C. Bowman , Patrick B. Lyons and <br />William C. Wodtke, Jr. to serve as the County Commission's <br />delegates to the Property Appraisal Adjustment Board for the <br />1986 hearings; and Don C. Scurlock, Jr. and <br />Richard N. Bird as alternates; and <br />WHEREAS, it is contemplated that the School Board <br />of Indian River County will adopt a resolution appointing <br />its membership to the Board and providing for allowance of <br />per diem compensation for such members in accordance with <br />Florida Statutes §194.015 (1985); and <br />WHEREAS, the cited statute requires a specific <br />election from both the County Commission and the School <br />Board in order to allow such compensation, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF <br />m <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS that: <br />1. The foregoing recitals, including the <br />appointments to this year's PAAB by the County Commission <br />are hereby ratified and acknowledged; and <br />2. The above-named members of the 1986 Property <br />Appraisal Adjustment Board, or their duly authorized <br />replacements, may receive per diem compensation for services <br />provided on the Board, as allowed by law for State <br />employees, pursuant to the above-cited statute. <br />The foregoing resolution was offered by <br />Commissioner Lyons who moved its adoption. The <br />motion was seconded by Commissioner Bowman and, <br />upon being put to a vote, the vote was as follows: <br />1 <br />AUG13 19 b <br />BOOK <br />.0 <br />
